Treat your content strategy like a bank account

Treat your content strategy like a bank account.
Every post you publish is either a deposit… or a withdrawal.

Deposits look like:
Useful tips
Fresh insights
Conversation starters

Anything that gives value without asking for something in return.

Withdrawals look like:

Anything that asks your audience to do something that benefits you.

None of these are bad.

The problem is that most brands are constantly withdrawing… without building a balance first.

And then they wonder why engagement drops.
Why conversions feel harder.
Why their audience doesn’t respond.

You’re in overdraft.

The brands that win on social don’t just show up when they need something.
They build equity first.

So when they do ask, people are ready to respond.

Simple rule:
Aim for a 60-40 (or even better 70-30) deposit-to-withdrawal ratio when planning your content and keep your account in the green!
