When NOT to hire a fractional CMO (yes, I’m convincing you NOT to hire me.)

Look, I love what I do. But sometimes, I have to tell potential clients it’s not the right fit.
Here’s when you should probably NOT hire someone like me:

👆 When you need a full-time marketing executor
If you’re looking for someone to create social posts, write blogs, and manage day-to-day campaigns – that’s not a fractional CMO. You need a marketing coordinator or specialist. (I can help you hire one though!)

✌️When you’re not ready for change
A fractional CMO will challenge your assumptions and suggest new approaches. If you’re committed to “the way we’ve always done things,” save your money.

🤟When you just want a yes-person
Need someone to validate all your existing marketing decisions? I’m not your gal. You’re paying for expertise and honest feedback – even when it’s uncomfortable.

4️⃣ When you need instant results
While I work fast, sustainable marketing growth takes time. If you need results by next week, you might want to look at paid advertising specialists instead.

🖐 When you don’t have any budget beyond the CMO
Part-time senior marketing leadership without a marketing budget is like a chef without ingredients. We need some resources to implement strategies and drive results.

But here’s when you MIGHT need to give me a call:
🪄 Your marketing efforts feel scattered and unfocused
🪄You’re ready to scale but not sure where to start
🪄Your team is great at executing but needs strategic direction
🪄You know you’re missing opportunities but can’t pinpoint where
🪄Your growth has plateaued and fresh eyes could help

I’d rather talk myself out of work than take on a client where I can’t add real value. But if you see yourself in those last few points… let’s chat.
